Joe Morrell established Split Rock Construction in 2017 with a specific purpose of bringing the highest level of professional structure to home construction projects.  For the twenty years leading up to the founding of Split Rock Construction, Joe spent his time working in commercial real estate development with a focus on large multi-family housing and historic building restoration projects.  During this time Joe actively focused his concentration on the business fundamentals and ever important project logistics needed to successfully execute construction projects. After continuously hearing about the lack of these traits in residential construction Joe decided to leave the “desk side of construction” to start his own business.  The mission of Split Rock Construction is to combine Joe’s corporate expertise in these areas with his passion of renovating and preserving older homes, without compromising their character, to deliver the highest quality results to homeowners.
